The studio behind the needle
Every piece drawn for you
Nothing here comes off a wall of flash you have to settle for. You bring an idea, a photo or a rough sketch; our artists draw it up, talk it through and put it on your skin only when it is exactly right. Cover an old tattoo you never liked, mark something that matters, or start your first piece with someone who will take the time.
Bring the idea. We will draw the rest.
What we do
Styles & services
A working studio for tattoos and piercings in Highams Park. These are the styles our artists are asked for most, all shown in real work further down the page.
Black & grey realism
Portraits, animals and detailed shading built up in soft greys, from lions and crowns to full sleeves.
Fine line & illustrative
Clean linework and neo-traditional pieces, delicate detail with a bold outline that ages well.
Japanese
Tigers, koi and pagodas with cherry-blossom colour, the classic Irezumi flow across arm and leg.
Dotwork & mandala
Geometric mandalas and stipple shading, patient dot-by-dot detail for wrists, ankles and shoulders.
Cover-ups & reworks
Living with a tattoo you regret? We redesign and cover old work so you can show it off again.
Piercings & jewellery
Ear and body piercings, jewellery changes and honest aftercare advice, whether it is new or a fix.
Every tattoo is quoted at a consultation once we have your design, size and placement. Message us your idea or pop in for a chat.

“Since coming to Scorpion Ink and having Meg as my artist I wouldn't go anywhere else. She listens to what you want and delivers every single time, by far the best artist I've had tattoo me.”
“I did my first tattoo here. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, even offered me a drink. Rony worked really hard, very professional and cautious as it was my first. Highly recommend.”

For the owner · quick things to confirm before launch
- Opening hours shown are from your Google profile (Tue–Sat 11–18). Confirm they're current.
- No prices are published, so the site quotes tattoos "at a consultation". Tell us if consultations are free, whether you take a deposit, and any minimum charge or day rate so we can say so.
- We only wired the contact details we had on file (phone, email). If you'd like your Facebook page, Instagram or online booking added, send us the links and we'll drop them in.
- Artist names (Meg, Rony) come from your public reviews. Confirm your current team so we credit the right people.
- Deposit, age/ID policy and parking can each get a short line once you confirm them.
